He finds and develops a lot of nfl talent at a place that historically bad and hard to recruit it. Maybe the best QB developer in all of college football. Brings in big time D coordinators. Too.

Besides Dak, names of some current starters making a big difference in the NFL...
Goes through those D coordinators like swiss cheese... they leave for a reason. I think MSU has had 6 D coordinators in the last 10 years...

Fail. Take a lap

the crazies will come out, make some death threats, burn some couches, flip some cars

national media will lambaste us

and then out of nowhere currie lands us Patterson and we ride off into a 2018 natty run :rock2::rock2:

Expect a stern talkin' to from Newt

:nono:

I think it shows that none of them know.. Not Hubbs, not Hyams, not Rucker.. We are getting info from Boosters who have talked to their family members or friends, possibly from Fulmer or someone in the AD who has told a few football players, because Curry isn't saying anything.

I think the number 1 source in all of this is PM. The few people he is telling are spreading the word

It’s hard to keep assistants that’s the problem. And Alex Smith has been a 10’year starter. Watch football.

We should just get Cutcliffe-- he developed Eli and Peyton and he's a Tennessee guy.

OKAY SERIOUS QUESTION--- could someone give some solid reasons/facts on why people are that confident Mullet would take us to the next level (SEC Championships) besides "Oh, our facilities are better" ? so he will magically be better than he is now because we have better toys...

UT automatically draws a top 15-20 recruiting class. And a Mullen hire would virtually guarantee good QB play. He has the least talented team in his division year after year, yet he still has won as many as 9 or 10 games a year, and regularly wins 8. The big difference is that he would no longer have the least talented team in his division should he come to UT.

Dude with 1 post since August 2001 just posted on VQ and said it's a done deal. Lol

Alex Smith, yeah. Also, Mullen brought Tebow and Scam Newton to UF. Yep, I’d hate that kind of QB recruiting in Knoxville... /sarc

The reason they leave is because schools with more money than MSU pay them a lot more. That wouldn't happen here and is one of the primary reasons Mullen's ceiling would be so much higher here.
