So the Finebaum show calling out both Gruden and Tennessee saying quit stringing fans along... That they need to make an announcement either way soon because if they don't it will negativily impact the next Tennessee coach if Gruden isn't our next coach.

Currie knows this. I think we will hear something by tomorrow afternoon one way or the other. Then our lives can resume in peace.

Maybe I'm not catching on, but why do we think Gruden is on a plane to Knoxville? If they did go to get him to sign and he did, were they going to sweep him up and bring him in for a presser today?

Seems pretty hasty and unrealistic. Just my guess (which I think I'm allowed to do) is that whatever transpired yesterday had more to do than just a signature and whatever was decided will take some more time to appropriately plan for to have the largest impact. This won't be/hasn't been a spur of the moment situation. The greatest efforts and attention to detail have been put into this process.
If I'm way off, please fill me in. I'm wrong more than I'm right and I'm not ashamed to admit it. (Though I usually don't post all my wrong conclusions for obvious reasons &#128513
