Private planes are more often used to fly candidates/agents/people being courted rather than the AD. As flying private gets very expensive. It could also be as simple as they were being used for actual business.

State law also requires all employees fly commercial if it's the cheapest way to travel.

State Law!!!

Sorry, but I couldn't resist!

Th real Jimmy won’t break any news. Can’t stand him and Mark Howard in their segment here in Nashville. Howard is so condescending toward anyone who doesn’t agree with him. He and Jimmy have a Kevin Spacey type vibe going every time they talk.

I have been lurking since the first go around. The really sad thing is, there will be no more Jon Gruden threads after this year. Bittersweet!

If Currie wanted to really be incognito, he should’ve rolled Greyhound. Nothing like a 17 hr bus ride with the nations of the world represented and stopping every half hour. Absolutely glorious. I did it in college to attend the last home game that year. From Dallas. You’ve not lived until you’ve almost died on a Greyhound bus.

Wow, cannot imagine from Dallas. How long did that take? I did a Murfreesboro to Knoxville when younger and it took forever - some of the stops were 20 minutes off the interstate. Definitely an experience but have not been on Greyhound since.

"I have spoken with multiple people at UT that say this is a 20 year decision for direction of UT"....Brice "Career defining moment for Currie".

This post is 10000% correct

I disagree with this. The landscape is just so different now. Resets and rebuilds are the norm. In fact, it is for this reason that I don't mind one bit taking a gamble on Gruden; and, make no mistake, it is a gamble. Again, it's an exciting one and, I'd say, a good one. But if, for whatever reason, it were to turn bad, I'm not too concerned about a 20 year implication.

Whether it's legit or it's horse **** this thread is amusing.

The "legit" nugget of the day is Hubbs saying Currie's in Charlotte and Blackburn's Gruden comments.

Believe what you will...
