Agreed. he is keeping his barrels and barrels of powder dry and will wait to fire all the cannons. He will be the happiest of all of us when this is over. Which is saying a lot...Book it

Say we have the same team as this year. Insert good coaching. We beat Florida, we beat South Carolina, we beat Kentucky, and i would go as far to say we beat Mizzouri, so we lose to LSU and wgwtfa when Vandy comes because thats what Ut does.
That leaves us at 9-3 or 8-4 if you say good coaching couldn't overturn the Mizzouri game. It was 17 to 17 at half. We just quit imo.
We get everything back next year. Kelly if anyone goes pro. Gruden will sign a top 10 class, we are 14th right now even after decomits, none of those kids are leaving if Gruden is announced soon. Uga loses everything, i think Florida is a bigger rebuild than us IMO. All of our injured players back healthy next year. I honestly think he could contend for the SEC title in year 1. Ecspecially if Kelly stays. One of Butch's biggest problems is he never puts the best player on the feild. We have seen it time and time again.

I have a friend down at the Times. I speak with her often. When I send a text, I usually get a response within a couple of hours. I sent her a text asking if she could get me any inside info (if there was any to have). I know she read it, have talked to her since and she has not mentioned it to me. I don't know what that means or if it even means anything.

I bet it’s hard for you to even breath in this thread being around so many positive people at once huh? Do you honestly think that Currie doesn’t know he is making the hire of his life and will not be able to survive a mid level “ google search” coach ?

I'll give first

2018: 7-6 to 9-3 holds together a top 15 class
2019: 8-4 to 10-2 and top 5 class
2020 9-3 to sky is the limit with another top 5 class


Just gauging what the expectations are from the fan base if he is hired. Also curious what your reaction would be if we were to go 8-4 or 7-5 in those three seasons.

I have always maintained I would love to have Gruden on the hill but also realize no one has a magic wand to fix all the problems in our program. As much as I would love to see him I do not view it as the end of the world if it doesn't happen there are several names I would be ALMOST as happy with.

As long as we only get beat by teams that are better than we are, I'm good with the record. Can't win a natty every single year.

No more pounding the rock down to the 6 inch line then passing from shotgun. No more garbage. I want to see good football
