I’m in the mountains with only a smartphone at my disposal right now and I’d like to send a private message to a particular VN member, but I can’t find a way to do it. Does the VN interface on a computer supply the ability to privately message someone? I just woke up with rhe answer to a question that’s been on a lot of our minds, and that informaton does not need to be posted in a public forum.

not that I know about but you can send it to me :)

No likie 😡

Take that with a grain of salt. All that article does is explain the outter shell of how the process works....everyone that’s involved in any hiring process is 1) Putting feelers out to see who’s interested 2) increase their value if there is interest 3) protect their image in the end 4) make more money or at the very least, prevent a digression.

Even the Landry’s narrative was balanced to protect his own image. Everyone MUST ride the fence to the very end. To me, the most important item within this article was his clarity that there is no way assistant coaches would leak valuable information because it would discredit them individually during the process....indicating distrust perhaps to a future employer.

The article is interesting, but definitely inconclusive and vague.

Now, back to the Flu. Ughhhhh

From TOS, TIFWIW

“I don’t post much, but when I do, it’s with 100% certainty and no bullsh*t. The football scoop article couldn’t have been more fake. Those guys don’t have a damn clue as to what they’re talking about. I know Dale Jones through a relative of mine. He told this said relative that the article was BS. He also said that Gruden definitely wants the job, without question, and that he was indeed contacted by him directly and regarding the LB coach position.

Dale also made sure to note, and this goes for everyone out there (Gruden believers and non-believers), unless ESPN or any of the major networks goes live on air and says that Gruden is NOT taking the UT job, then all of us should believe NO ONE.

In conclusion, Gruden is still very much in play. I am in close connection with Dale and a very big booster here in Nashville. In one of my previous posts, I mentioned the fact that this booster had 0% confidence that Gruden would be our next coach. He is now in the 75% range on that.

Also, some news that just came in while typing all of this out: Jon Gruden is/has been on campus today. That’s not smoke. It’s the truth.

TIFWIW”

But but but...Finebaum, yesterday, quoted his "close" source stating Gruden has absolutely no interest in job.

That Atlanta_Vol post made me have a Grugasm.
I quivered a little myself...and once again much respect and adoration to AV for all he does for UT and the fans. Also kutos to the other Volnation members who donated tix to some less fortunate, vets, and people with children...thats what makes this place special.
