Finally caught up. I think folks are missing all the smiley faces and "so-and-so knows" posts sprinkled throughout the evening. That after all the CONFIRMED communications between the Gruden camp and potential assistant coaches. Then AV dropps his little nugget hinting at an announcement tomorrow. My meter is pegged at 100%.

They are pretty damn good when they are healthy. I haven't seen 1 dominant team this year. Ala is very beatable. A team like Clemson and Auburn could beat Ala this year. Teams with a good D and that aren't one dimensional on offense. Oklahoma is another team that could give Ala fits. GA is to 1 dimensional as is ND. Not sure Miami is balanced enough especially in their pass game. There's no team this year that can't be beat. I really think AU beats Ala at home.

I don't see Clemson beating Bama. I think AU is the best right now with how they beat down GA. I think Miami is peaking at the right time. We will see who's better between Miami and Clemson in a couple weeks

You guys really want Gruden bad, May I ask why? I like Chucky being a Bucs fan and all and think he can develop QB's but I don't think his offense would work well at the College level it is extremely complex. Not to mention he has been out of coaching for almost a decade.

AV specifically said NOT to assume an announcement tomorrow. He merely indicated tomorrow would be "pivotal."
