Col. E.H. Taylor is a fine single barrel. I don't know if you can get much better for the price point. Love the Buffalo Trace stuff.

It’s almost like they stand in line to take their turn at trying to “ help us “ see how “ misguided we all are in here oblivious to the 100’s of posts that defines what the Gruden tread is actually about . Speculating, trying to piece together a puzzle , a place for like minded and some very good people enjoying the time we spend together . Bless their little hearts . Now ... My daughter is a junior at the U of Miami...she was raised on Saturdays in Neyland. She was at the ND / Miami game this weekend. She told me it was loud, but nowhere close to as loud as Neyland on any given Saturday. I for one can’t wait to get back to a noisy, intimidating place to play again. Go Vols!!

Bring us the Grude! Soon!

As you can verify from my account info, I’ve been imprisoned in a cone of silence for the past 8 years. My disbelief of how far the program had fallen from its once majestic heights had stolen away all of my hope and ability to speak positively about the future of my beloved Vols.

But something disturbed the powerful forces that held the cone in place. Just before noon last Sunday a large crack formed in the cone and I felt a warmth to the east. I recognized immediately that this feeling was of hope that I used to know so well. I listened intently and heard faint voices in the distance saying, “soon”. I noticed those voices growing louder and louder as each hour passed. “Soon. Soon! SOON!!!” The crack widened with the rumbling voices which crashed like the waves agains the shore during a hurricane. Finally, the cone crumbled.

Then I saw a vision of a great man clad in orange followed by a spider and two bananas each of which were split into a “Y” shape. Upon seeing this vision I was displaying a full-on Grude which was impossible to hide. My voice returned and I began instinctively spreading the Grude to all with whom I came into contact. I began to find extrme joy when spreading Grude to the “deniers” and “naysayers” masquerading as Vol fans.

Let all be warned!!! The GrudeMeter reads “Nuclear” and all in the SEC and the nation need beware as they will SOON by affected by the fallout! May their souls rest in peace!

Sorry, I was out for a bit and am trying to catch up.

I was told all of this yesterday evening, but I have a feeling their info could have been a day old at that point. I see no reason why BOT members would get hour-by-hour updates on the coaching search.

They were very clear that no contract had been signed. Must have been referring to the MoU or their info contradicts mine.

You'll have to share a what you think about the Weller. I've been tempted to pick it up.

I'll tell you not to listen to the "scotch guy" at the spirits store if he recommends McCarthy's. I picked it up on a recommendation as they use peat-malted barley from Islay but age it in Oregon for 3 years. Total crap. It takes much more than a peaty barley to make a good whiskey.
