Pill does point 4 reference that he might back out if certain people don't agree to join the staff or is this a money/contract for assistants issue? As in he would want his assistants to have certain years on contracts, buyouts etc? UT just better give him whatever he wants and get this done.

Would be interesting to get Beaver's take on this

I seen earlier that the MoU or draft contract noted that Gruden. Did not have a buyout?

Haven’t been able to log back in, got a call earlier. Gruden is on campus. May just be visiting his son, but he made an appearance at football complex.

If this is the case then I think he's being introduced to the team as the next coach. I think if there are some hang ups on staff they have been addressed and it's moving forward. I'm sure he had back up plans if some of them may not want to come

This has an air of truth to it. There are bound to be a few snags to overcome with a guy like Gruden that you normally wouldn't have with another college coach. Asheville is right smack between Charlotte and Knoxville, and you could drive there to meet to avoid the risk of being seen in an airport.

I also like the idea of going after Patterson should the deal fall through.

Kudos to you, OrangePill, for sharing this. I hope it doesn't cause you any trouble!

I will volunteer the use of our second bedroom! I will clear out the portable crib and remove the thirty-'leven guitars from the bed!! One and a half blocks from Haywood Rd!

Hope he's not allergic to cats..,

Is that a financial issue or a personel issue

Supposedly money is not as issue and I thought he was to be provided autonomous power (I would assume firing and firing would be part of that).

Trying to figure it out.....for me its a little concerning. Big deals sometimes fall thru on the smallest technicalities.

GBO!
