Wouldn't surprise me. Boro himself hasn't been dangling carrots as much this time.

Of course, I would be totally fired up if we get Gruden, but I also think there is a lot of truth to what Gary Patterson said in reference to us passing him over for Kiffin. "I think a lot of these AD's are more interested in hiring guys who're going to win the podium than they are in hiring football coaches, and there's a lot more to it than that if you're going to win championships."

Yeah..Gruden can win championships and the podium. He has already won the ultimate football championship.

I mean I would have been thrilled if we ended up with Chip Kelly as our coach. But out of all the big names candidates, he was the one I found myself having the most questions about.

It seems so good on paper. But he's such a system guy.

I would actually rather have Frost. Who is younger and has more diverse experience. Seems less committed to one particular system. Has experience coaching both sides of the ball. His resume makes me drool.

Dude is gonna be a star. Bring him here. Gimme.
