I'm thinking we may be misunderstanding or twisting Martinez' comments from Currie a little bit. Currie contrasted days to hours. Translation: it's not gonna be immediate, but I'm working to make it happen as soon as possible.

Would've been very different had he said days, as compared to weeks. In that case, he would be communicating what we are wanting.

I think this is a case of us hearing what we want to hear and not what was actually communicated. We all have to be patient. It's going to happen. But don't expect it to happen tomorrow just because MNF is done for the week.

Gentleman's (and woman's) agreement to at least give a heads up it's happening.

That was a joke taken out of context from the recruiting forum. Amazing how quickly this stuff makes the rounds.

Not only there a guy on FB is saying the exact same thing and stating it is from his sources. I called him out and he is arguing with me saying it is fact and he doesn't read VolNation. lol here is his quote on FB

I just want to point out that we have had no less than four or five different websites and reporters talking about Gruden reaching out to potential staff members. I would also like to point out that this is exactly what Beaver said would happen after Butch was fired and prior to an announcement on the hiring.
