I'm not quite sure what you mean by that last sentence. I believe there are at least 6 "beavers" floating around here. I believe that everyone jumped to a stalking horse understanding, but concep came in and gave an explanation of a stalking horse OFFER. I believe that was intended to put us on the right trail. But we certainly don't have to agree on this.

Welp, Tuesday is proven. So that must mean Rucker is FOS or Tee didn’t want to let the cat out of the bag.

The only reason UT would contact Tees agent would be to vet him for the HC position. Grudens agent would not call tees agent about an open position on his staff. UT would negotiate assistant coaches salaries after a head coach was named. Gruden would be contacting potential staff personally, not through agents.

Hehe, no, he wasn't.

Bob Mueller was a VN.com football forum poster and self-described insider in the AD's office who actually did bring pretty good information (or good guesses) about what was going on inside the program. He coined the phrase, "check my stats" as a claim to validity.

Haven't seen him post anything in over a year, though. Who knows, he may have been an alter ego to DeerPark. They had somewhat similar on-screen personalities.
