I want to believe the more favorable odds means that Vegas has some knowledge, but a part of me wonders if they are aware of how many Tennessee fans they can sucker into betting on Gruden.

If they wanted people to bet they wouldn't drop the odds. They would keep them higher.

An obvious refernce to General Neyland and Gruden admitting he ranks just below our esteemed hero..but that he will try his best to deserve a "promotion" to general status.

That isn't how it works. The more people bet on a team, a person...whatever...the odds LOWER.

Through agents? That's not how this works, agents don't get involved until money is ready to be discussed. They're first vetted by the HC and then the school contacts the agent to work out the contract specifics.
