Good news for me.

Looking at UCFs schedule I just can't get fired up knowing the best defesne he has played all year is FIU. Here is where the defenses he's played ranked in scoring defesne.

FIU- 57
Navy-90
Memphis-96
Cincy-97
SMU-102
Maryland-115
SMU-102
UConn-124
ECU-129(dead last in all of football)

That's just plain awful.

Well yeah, but they are scoring 50 points a week. They are picking their score.

One thing has me a little settled on the Cade Mays thing is that both he and Martinez tripped together at Ohio State. In his interview he said they were together most of the time. With him remaining committed that gives me some hope that cade comes back with a decent hire.

Ziti,

Admittedly I haven't watched their games. Are they playing the up tempo Oregon style of offense?

What I like about Frost is that they don't seem to go up tempo as a rule. They do it when it benefits them. It's a tool in their arsenal that they can pull out at any time, but it doesn't define who they are. As it should be. I don't know that anything specific really defines who they are, other than scoring TD's.

He adapts his team to it's strengths.

If we wanted him we would have to overpay and I'm fine with that.

He's doing what you're supposed to do at a smaller school. Beating the crap out of everybody.

I have harped on his defense some in the past few weeks but after looking closer at some things I was wrong on that. What he has done on defesne is more impressive to me than his offense. At least he is playing against teams they can score and slowing them down.

Good point.

This. I hadn't noticed them going uptempo but just went back and pulled up a game and they definitely use it. I have watched some games on youtube and I flipped back and forth the night they played Cinci and they were scoring every other play it felt like.

Love his demeanor on the sidelines too. Total opposite of what we've seen the last 5 years.

I think Frost is gonna be phenomenal wherever he goes, i feel like he and campbell are head and shoulders above the rest of the "up and comers" from this coaching cycle. I really hope he turns down florida, he and kelly scare me the most as far as candidates for them. Really hope they find a way to screw it up.

Mack Brown, Fulmer, and Spurrier should do a radio show together I wouldn't mind sitting by the fire and listening to old grid iron stories. But Mack Brown is done.

Always hated Barry Switzer when he was coaching. Could listen to him for hours talking about 70’s and 80’s coaching and crutin. Isn’t shy about how he was successful $$$$$$. Love the old coaches!

New names popping up as soon as the job officially comes open, and Hubbs says interviews start at the end of the week, should let you guys know Gruden is by no means a done deal.

If that's true that Currie won't be doing any interviews until later in the week it makes me think he almost has to already have somebody in the bag, or close to it. I'd say that's a good thing.

The fish is in the livewell...I repeat...the fish is in the livewell.

Really hope the next coach stops practicing on Fridays like we have the past two years. I really think that has something to do with our injuries.
