No, I'm not "the" Chuckie from C&C (I didn't even know that his last initial is "R"), but that's the inspiration for my username, user title and location. Someone did a video about the legend of John Bean, and they interviewed Chuckie...that's where I "stole" a picture of him, which is what I use for my avatar.

To this day, I listen to that track a few times a week. It's gold!

I’m checking out for a long time if we hire him or Brohm. Can’t get myself excited about another Butch Jones.

We need to be hiring taggart or Fuente and not the guys who feasted off what they built. That’s how we got butch instead of Brian Kelly.

I think Morris would be much less accepted than brohm or Norvell.

Hubbs isn't plugged in on this coaching search like he was with the DeBord, Shoop, Scott, etc., hires.

He's throwing out the most conservative names possible.

I would too. At the very least, we know he can build the hell out of a program, get consistent results, and is an actual football coach with knowledge of one side of the ball. Has also become an elite recruiter for OSU.

You might want to reevaluate that statement about Norvell. Sure, he is still playing with some of Fuente's guys. But he is about to have a better season than Fuente ever did...with his own quarterback.

I really hope Gruden takes the job because the middle of this thing could fall out really quickly.

If Mullen and Taggart called us to express interest, you would have to think we can get one of the two. I could see Mullen use us for a raise, but it doesn't make much sense for Taggart to try.

Brohm, Norvell and Morris are fine coaches, but the risk is high. No clue if any are the dude

Agreed. That’s why i hope Gruden nixs it quick if he isn’t coming so we can move on and lock in on Someone else.

Btw, Team taking today off. My guess is a lot of changes gonna happen with scheme. Offense especially.

One of the radio guys said a booster told them that. Tbh, I don’t buy it. I think we’re willing but don’t believe that quotes real.
