Im 100% Gruden here but I have a question. This has been what seems the longest ride ever already and I cant remember it all so I will ask. Has MIT Beaver ever said Grudens name specifically as the guy TN was going after? He probably did but I honestly cant remember. I'll GTFO if needed, just cant remember.

Hopefully the coaches and players collectively say, "screw it, let's have fun," and go out there loose. Play some backyard ball, making stuff happen.

Could be a chaotic mess, but then again, couldn't be worse than what we've seen lately. And maybe it'd be a significant improvement.


Having said all that, we are most likely gonna lose to LSU no matter what we do. But that loose approach may help us take down Vandy the following week, and avoid the 8-loss season.

Sexton, being mullen’s Agent, would be wise to propagate such rumors so he can negotiate a better contract for his client similar to the Butch Jones extensions. He is making money selling BS to make his clients appear more desirable and wanted. Classic fear tactics in sales.

It’s so refreshing hearing money won’t be an issue for UT’s next HC.

Got so tired of our Administration going the cheap route.

Every time the head coaching vacancy comes up in Knoxville, Jon Gruden's name comes up because you guys get stars in your eyes.

Gruden then floats the idea of leaving to ESPN, using it as a way to get them to give him more money to keep broadcasting. IT'S HAPPENED EVERY SINGLE TIME HIS NAME COMES UP AS A COACHING REPLACEMENT AT TENNESSEE.

Tennessee needs a head coach who recruits well, with a proven winning record and genuinely loves the Big Orange and its fans. Jon Gruden has none of those abilities or capabilities. He ain't even a good NFL commentator.

I'm sick and tired of hearing Jon Gruden's name come up every time there's a vacancy. He needs to stay where he is, and we need to get us a great coach. Gruden is not. Dude... you're not in the running. Your number ain't coming up. I will personally travel the 100 miles to Knoxville myself and lobby AGAINST you if your name comes up, and I hope you are there visiting when I do.

Quit drinking the Gruden Koolaid, Vol fans. It ain't got no sugar in it.

I'd rather have Peyton Manning. Heck, I'd rather have Phil Fulmer back, before Jon Gruden. My mother would be a better choice.... at least, she has the dignity and respect to not use the offer to get more money out of her current employer.
