No man. Went to Memphis Catholic, Germantown, then finished at CBHS. Nobody wanted me...

I went to Memphis Catholic, graduated 1989.

Watching Butch at the game last night, with head hanging low, standing all alone most of 4th quarter, was oddly satisfying (though frustrated and sad for players). Had smile on my face despite blowout. Very nice 90 year old Mizzou couple asked me why so happy? Said I think UT wins either way by tomorrow. And now he really is gone!!!

Great day to be a Vol!

SOON!!

As someone who works on Network crews for ESPN. #1 is completely false only time that has happened was during Hurricane last year week 2 at Florida due to no power.

Will take your word on that. I was told it was BAU when crews are in same city for multiple days arriving at different times that they initially stay wherever as they arrive on different days and then consolidate to same hotel night before. Probably depends on city and “availability”. You would know - I’m only going on what I have been told by hotel staff in Charlotte that are used by teams and national media.

Why would Currie tell a booster That? Aren't the "big" boosters the ones pushing Gruden? Wouldn't be necessary for Currie to say that to someone who "should" already know.

Only of they wanted it to seem like Currie is calling the shots.

If it's true that the boosters are strong arming the AD to get what they want, the AD would not want that getting out.

My Grudometer has gone from about 95% to 40% post-Butch firing. Several national media outlets reporting now that we have had serious discussions about Mullen and that Greg Schiano is under serious consideration as well. UGH. Not exciting or encouraging at all....

Well...
They are supposed to be doing a "search."
Doesn't mean any particular name being thrown out there has a chance.
It has to look like they at least talked to coaches.

This happens all the time, and it's easy to see why. He's got more loyalty to the recruits than to the school that just fired him.

Definitely should be a rule on the books to prevent this.

An unemployed coach that contacts recruits should be hit with a show cause.

Dang, we finally agree on something. :good!:

Seriously? It was an honest mistake, and I would never intentionally mislead. I let my excitement get the best of me and posted it before checking it out first.

Kiss the ring and say you are sorry.

Beav or one of the other "insiders" said that Currie would be the hero when all is said and done.

The boosters will let him take the credit.
