Never understood the UF hype. Other than recruiting base (which they have to share with two other power programs), what do they have that's better than UT?

Facilities? No.
Stadium? No.
Fan base? No.
Money? No.

They've only won big when they've had two of the all time greatest coaches. And one was an alum.

You may be underestimating their fan base and money. And yes, they share that recruiting ground with other big schools, but it's also astronomically deeper than just about any other state.

He's had a long time to be working on this. Texas had Herman announced within 48 hours. He's on the clock. Either he really was trying to keep Butch and hasn't done anything worthwhile yet or he's got it done.

Texas fired Strong after the last game. So Herman had also finished his regular season at Houston and they could announce it quickly. If we don’t get Gruden and it’s Mullen (or Frost or Kiffin or any other acting head coach) we can’t announce until after The END of the season. So if it is another active coach we hire it we t be until after Nov 27.

If we are still waiting to figure it who our coach is on Dec 10. Then we need to be worried.
