I dont have a clue as to what Currie is doing or what his thought process is here guys but something that I found intersting was looking at his Twitter page. There is zero support for Butch Jones on there. He has posted congratulation and given props to every other UT athletic program except football. I know there hasnt been much to give congrats about but not even a mention about winning homecoming game or anything.


Could just be that its a sore subject and he dont want to talk about it. Could be that he doesnt have Jones back. Could be he just dont care about football. IDK.

If he is like most big wigs, he doesn't handle his own twitter account. That might have something to do with it.

Let's say Gruden doesnt wana coach in college. Do you think he would like to have $100 million. That's 10 years on the hill. Gota think about those great grandkids ya know.

He would still have access to it and may tweet stuff himself from time to time. For example, Vince McMahon doesn't handle his own twitter, but has also posted selfies.

Wasn’t long ago there were 112 teams. We’ve added teams to the division and still managed to out-suck them.

Austin-Peay could probably beat us. Making the University of FREAKING Tennessee the 4th or 5th team in the state right now.

IMO, he's enjoying the meltdown going on right now with fans. He knows when he finally does introduce Gruden at the podium he'll be a hero to UT fans.

I have thought this ever since Georgia. All this Gruden talk is just hopes and dreams of Boosters. Currie doesn't care about athletics he just cares about money for the university. We are still trotting out 100k fans to games and donations have never been higher. Leave the status quo alone.

He better march out Gruden if that's his formula. If he's intentionally getting the fans in a frenzy, he can't march out Willie Taggart or similar.
