I do not know him personally but I've been explaining for weeks that all of this is a matter of timing. And Currie has been hesitant to fire a coach midseason. There has been friction for weeks over the timing. The pressure is coming harder and harder from the booster side and Currie has less and less of a leg to stand on, especially after last night.
Will it happen today? I hope so, but I wouldn't put money on it. Currie's got his guy and knows that all will be forgiven when he hires him. So he's willing to take the heat right now.
Its still a national brand.....I have lived in Colorado for 27 years, straight from Knoxville, and I still see Power Ts in every large parking lot out here. While people have jumped ship temporarily, its still there.
I have decided to sell both remaining home game tickets. Section B, row 13, seats 7&8. Locust garage parking as well. Asking $150
If people west of Knoxville cared about UT football they would be a top 10 team. All the money on the state is here in Nashville. Nashvillians care more about the Titans and Preds. Middle TN has changing demographics...people moving in from the north and all over. They don't care about UT. Like I said, UT football is an east TN thang.
Dude just stop...
Peyton Manning left East Tennessee so he no longer supports UT according to your logic.
All those UT Alumni groups nationwide are fake then:
Nashville will become like Atlanta and become a melting pot of all fan bases but that is because Nashville will go down the ****ter, like Atlanta has, not because the Vols have.
Youre an idiot. Your name says it all.
Go cheer on your real team: Vanderbilt
