Judging by Currie's tweets, he seems to care about every other UT sport. His page is loaded with accolades to every other sport, but not a peep about football.

In his defense what is he supposed to say about football after getting blown out at Mizzou. Things may be quiet for a reason. I hope so anyways.

I want Gruden here as much as anyone but I don't think you guys know just how messed up this administration is and just how deep it runs

This. Something. Anything. I see statements from other ADs. It didn't take Florida long. His silence is what's driving people insane. I can only hope that he has a plan in the works already, but even if that were true he could make it public respectfully that Butch will finish the season, but won't be back in 2018. Or tell us he stands behind him, which would piss the entire fan base off, but at least we'd know.

He would be a GOD if he landed Gruden. If I had Gruden locked up I wouldn't care either,matter of fact I'd ignore the fans then 2 days before Sec championship.

He doesn't have to talk about a new coach. He can address the state of the program. Butch's future. What he needs to do to remain the coach at UT. What's acceptable/what's not acceptable. The normal stuff ADs talk about. He's not saying anything. Nothing. Nada. That's what's driving people insane about him.

Say anything besides were behind BJ. Doesn't have to talk about new coach. But I did see he now follows coaching search.com on twitter.

It is very challenging at the moment. And as humans we are 5 times more likely to go negative then positive. No news becomes bad news and borderline news becomes horrible.

When things slowed down last night right after thread 32 was born I went on to sleep. The game certainly wasn't worth watching. That's the first time I've done that.

DTO's info drop doesn't bother me for reasons many stated overnight:
-he wants to be top dog, and the glazers care more about futbol than football.
- Gruden has been flying around since the Georgia game assembling and interviewing assistants.
-to me there has been sufficient evidence that the Gruden family was moving to Knoxville with or without a coaching job. Staying in tampa doesn't make sense.
-DTO also came in a few weeks ago in the middle if a game to tell us the Gruden deal was dead.
-UTVolinExile has very good info about intentional leaks and outright lies from the AD.

I'm not saying DTO is lying to us. I'm saying he is being lied to. I'm still at 90%. I think, for good reason, Gruden wants this job as much as we all want him to have it. Almost every job in the NFL has been his for the asking for many years. Why would he suddenly take a job from someone who fired him? Makes no sense.

My fingers are crossed that Butch is gone today.
