I'm going to bed.
Nothing to see here but the weekly Saturday night Gruden thread purging.
I'll see those of you who survive in the morning.

Honestly? I don't know. I was told Friday morning that we would be getting some outright wrong information coming this weekend. I was also told that the outright wrong information would be controlled releases from the AD.

Nothing has changed my belief on Gruden. I've been going back and forth with some posters in private conversations as to whether Butch is gone this weekend. Yesterday I was less than 50% that he would be gone.

Bump.

Why would he want to coach at Tampa Bay again? He's been there done that! They suck plus J Winston is a dud!

Soon!

Tennessee sucks too, our entire team is a dud, he has been on the staff here before? Why would he want to coach at Tennessee?

We are a bigger dumpster fire than Tampa. By your logic there is no way we could believe he would be interested in coaching here right?

I don't know about Currie. I'll have to wait to see how this plays out. I hope he has a master plan, and has his mind made up on Butch. It all boils down to who he hires as coach. If this situation is prolonged, and he ends up hiring a Frost or Taggart or - God forbid - worse, then I will think he is an idiot.

My opinion on Gruden is that it's not a pipe dream, but I think his preference is to coach in the NFL. Just my opinion. I don't know the man, but I do think it odd that he hasn't accepted yet IF the rumored offer is true. That deal would probably make Saban think twice about coming here.

IMO the thing that is throwing it all off balance is Gruden's personal pet project, FFCA. It makes this whole thing sensitive with the timing and process.

Well just got done with some ignoring....can't stand whiny *****es. It sucked to lose to Missouri tonight but I figured it was going to happen and to be honest I really have no feelings about it. I am just ready to done with Botch Jones and this **** show of a football team that he has put together and as for Gruden I am 100% all in because all I have at this point as a fan is hope. Don't let these losers bashing you get you down DTO.

I can't believe they got beat that bad by a team that was 4-5. That's so crazy how far we fell. I can't wait to actually have a coach that we know is the real deal. It's been since 01' when fulmer was still prime.

The last timing I was given is he would not coach miss st. Obviously that was wrong. I just don't see how he cannot be let go at this point. I do think John wanted to ride it out in hopes of getting enough wins for a bowl. I believe he saw canning Butch as a sure way to not win enough games. That now seems to have passed. I honestly give Gruden a 50/50. I hope it pans out as I think it is the most upside especially for the splash. Anyone is going to be a gamble but I would bet my money on him being the best coach to get us back the fastest.

Thanks man..
Your info is usually correct.

Hey bro.

I'm still exactly where I've been for almost 2 weeks: 99% Gruden. 1% in case of heart attack or meteor strike.

DTO's comment about a "hurdle" hasn't changed my belief. As I just mentioned, I have reason to believe that some false info is coming out. Not saying DTO is getting bad info but what an interesting narrative it would make, if Gruden was courted at the last minute by the Bucs, everyone thought it was over, and then Currie swooped in to save the day.

Huh. Did someone predict that happening? Sounds like something I've heard in this thread before.

Lay off DTO. He's not here all day talking about his good buddies at the AD who are packing Butch's boxes, or the rest. He's paid his dues and earned his spot here.

You can GTFO.

Great post.

Sabens making more than that this season

Everyone say it with me. I Hope Jon Gruden Is Our Next Coach. Anyone who is a Insider on this board is spreading hope not facts. Hearsay catfish message board heros.

If gruden wasn't coming, the only coach I personally wouldn't mind would have been scott frost. He is doing incredible. That offense is fun to watch
