Nah, they're still on Butch. Our coordinators that he hired are so awful that it would not have mattered who the HC was in those games. Worst coaching I have ever seen.

Patterson's record is much better than I thought initially and blows Mullens away. He has racked up lots of wins against lesser competition, but so has Mullen.

I don't think it's close. I thought it would seem closer off the top of my head.

Patterson is .741 vs Mullen's .600. To be fair though, Patterson probably did enjoy a solid talent advantage while in Conference USA and the Mountain West that Mullen never had. Patterson is .649 since joining Big XII.

I think it's getting to the point where they've taken advantage of fan patience about as long as they can. If they don't get it right this time, I think there will be a lot of empty seats in Neyland going forward.

At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if they still don't fire him until after the season. It would be a breath of fresh air to say the least however if they actually did go ahead and make it public tomorrow or Monday. Sl tired of this trash it isn't even funny.
