Ok Clad, not to be that guy, but here goes, you say you left at half time, just got back to the room, but all this was stated at least about 30 minutes ago. Said you were staying in St. Louis. Columbia to St. Louis is appx 125 miles...so something with your story does not jive...based purely on stated timelines, no way you left at half time, got to room in st.louis and posted about 30 minutes ago regarding your activities. Also, sometimes too much detail with a story lends a story to likely being embellished. Maybe you are legit, but something just not adding up with your timeline as reported. But maybe I am wrong.🤔

Where did he say he made it back to his room? He simply said that his room is in St. Louis. He was most likely making his communications while traveling back to said room.

There hasn't been a Butch Jones postgame show on the Vol Network yet. Kesling came on and gave a brief game summary, and the network seems in disarray.

Does the Jones postgame interview usually come before Tim's locker room report?
Tim got a hold of him and beat the sh#t out of him so there will be no presser

Whether he is or isn't, I put a lot more stock in Swan's comments on TOS than skeeter's but I believe he is right about Currie not wanting to fire Butch as it lines up with what Hubbs said earlier.

Good point.

Butch is Done after this game tonight.... have not heard from my usual source... but he is DONE... has to be

I hope Gruden is willing to come to Tennessee this time...remember I said I HOPE

With ya. There’s a light at the end of the tunnel. Just hope it’s not a train.

Our mutual friend?

Yes. A couple others too. One that has yet to say Butch is gone and he just thinks the same as everyone. Currie has been in the job a short time and this is a career defining moment. He may have been overly cautions for some tastes (mine included) but it is not something he can wait any longer to do or there could be irreparable damage setting us back years. This recruiting class is about to fold like a cheap chair if nothing happens. These top recruits are used to winning and you can only sell "you can play immediately" for so long without posting results.

I wish it would have worked out for him and us but it didn't. I hope the best for him and his family going forward. He did pull us from the cellar and make us relevant again but folded and failed to make several key decisions correctly which will define his time here.

I believe Currie has PORTRAYED the image of not wanting to fire Butch.

Bottom line is this THEY QUIT. The players quit and there is no way around it. The only thing left is a MAJOR change, hopefully Gruden but if not somebody that is able to not only coach but as bad as I hate to say it, since they are young men, get rid of the dead wood.

I get it you are a whatever star in high school but this is the big time. Yes you need a coach to develope you but you need to take some pride in yourself, stop dancing on the sideline and worry about getting better. The next coach, if he is serious may be watching you now and taking notes.

Heard from a very very very reliable source that Peerless Price does not believe and has not believed in Butch Jones. I’m no insider but i truly believe it.

At the outback bowl I ate with him during the half and he expressed concerns in the conversation we had.
