Okay folks. I am not an insider by any means, but I did hear some Grude news today. Not sure if this is legit, but here’s what was told to me. My father-in-law works in an industry where he is forced to travel all over the country and rub shoulders with lots of big money type folks as his clients. This last week he was working in Vegas at a sales show where he had a conversation with a couple guys who he described as “guys who know what goes on in the AD at UT”. The gist of the conversation is that they told him Gruden signed this last week. He knows I’m a huge Vol fan, but he doesn’t know I’m full Grude, and I definitely haven’t had coaching search conversations with him. He brought it up on his own completely unprompted by me. Who knows who these guys are or if they’re really insiders, but that’s what I heard today. Tifwiw.

With all these offers in play, it would be prudent of Gruden to take his time and consider the good ones.

The question is: will UT be patient enough to wait for him? With recruiting can they even afford to be patient enough to wait for him?

I think Trey & Swain’s tweets indicated that what JG was saying, or not saying, in that interview was confirming things they have been hearing behind the scenes and hinting at publically... Houston Kress same story. I’m about to see where Trey’s Grudometer is at now lol
