Well, I just killed two hours trying to find old posts of mine. Why is this so hard to do on VN? Why does Google only seem to go back to Gruden VI and not earlier? I'm sure there's a way to do it, but I haven't found it yet.

Anyway, the best I've come up with are some of my posts on Gruden VI. But as just-a-fan who knows nothing about coaching and all, I was just doing some general cheerleading.

So as Smokin' Bob so aptly said, I'm a Grudenite by virtue of longevity. But I sure wasn't taking bullets for it. Hats off:hi:to the true OG's.

Reading through Gruden I sure does bring back a lot of memories.... and noticing a few folks missing this go-round

Since they are slurping down the transitive property, I'll bite. Saban and Spurrier are highly regarded CFB coaches, and are even argued to be amongst the best all-time. What's their NFL record? What'd they do in the playoffs? I wouldn't know, cause neither made it.

JG has performed at the highest level of this sport. I'll be more than willing to take my chances, if only for the recruiting power his name and influence will bring. We'll get into the Xs and Os in another segment.
