Gm Grudes! Heading to the beach! I'll check back in later to see what's going on. Hopefully, I'll catch Grand Vols morning or afternoon addition of "The Grude News" to catch up! Everyone have a Grude day!

Oh and as always: Nega-Grudes, anyone discussing other coaches not named Jon M'Fn Gruden, Trolls and pain in the ass posters....

STFU and GTFO!

Soon!!!!

Didn't hargis tweet something like, "if Jon Gruden personally told me face to face that he was going to be the next coach at Tennessee there's no way I would report it this time"? Hahaha

The exact tweet was

"Just sayin if I'm having lunch with Vic & JG calls him (again) to gauge interest in joining staff as HS liaison, I ain't tellin y'all s***"

That's Vic Grider, the coach that was at South Pittsburg and friends with Gruden.

His desire to coach at UT is a major detail.

I believe that his desire to coach and leaving TV (if fired from ESPN he could easily get another TV job) are two of the major factors in his decision. The first would be family and we don't have a clue on where that is at.

Corona and Hooters would also play in big and could explain the high numbers on his contract.

What would a HS liaison do exactly?

Simple stipulation in any endorsement with a person who is a coach, might coach again, have in their contract that if a job came around they would have the right to terminate immediately to gain said employement. New coaching job's salary amount covers lost endorsement wages. Problem solved. Do you really think a Hooters contract would stop anybody from doing anything? Mike Pruitt, Chanticleer Holdings CEO (Owns Hooters) is a sports nut. He would not stand in the way. I see this as a non-issue. However, you are right in that THE issue is if Jon wants to coach here. I believe he does.

That's mere speculation, no one knows what his contracts state, and until we do it's a barrier for fans that want him to coach at UT.

Thanks, thought that was the case but was not certain.

Sorry about that, I should have actually put the cities in. For me, an airport code is just as good as a city name, but that's certainly not the case for most people. When typing a post about tail numbers (basically the same thing as a car license plate, they are unique to an individual plane) and ATC (Air Traffic Control) the airport codes just sort of flowed out there.

To save you the time of looking at the flight tracks that were posted....there is not a ton to see there. Some flights that are possibly going to Tampa, but unconfirmed, several out or into airports in the Knoxville and Cleveland areas, which would not be unusual for a plane owned by Pilot/FJ. Also some flights in the New York City area.

To sum up....no definite Gruden connection based on flight data available, but also impossible to eliminate the rumor that he is using a Haslam plane or planes.
