Patrick Brown on 247 confirmed last night this is how 2012 went down that lead to that story.

That’s right. Stephen is close friends with Vic Grider, Head Coach at South Pitt high school. Outstanding coach. Vic and JG were on Coach Majors staff at UT together. JG called Vic last go around about having some smal role on his staff at UT. Stephen was sitting there talking with Vic when Gruden called. Pretty crazy story.


So no, it was not a fake story

I know tomorrow is Veterans Day and today is the Marine corps birthday. But as an army veteran I would like to say thank you to all of my brothers out there today. I know we all give each other hell about who’s branch is better (of course we know Army is the best) but I have done missions with the Marines in Iraq and thank you all as well All provide some sort of support in combat and even thank you to the civilians for helping us through the tough times.

Happy Veterans Day and Happy Birthday Marines

Okay I'm not commenting anymore I don't come here to argue over nonsense things from 2012. I will just let you know one story was fake in 2012 may not be chart story but there was a fake local story

Well stated bro! This is NOT GRUDEN Fantasy Land!

My two biggest concerns are,

1. Does he want to be the next UT Football coach? I have yet to see any evidence that he sincerely wants to coach at UT next season.

2. If he does, how do the powers that be get past his current endorsements with Hooters and Corona Ect? State employees can't have their own endorsements. As the HC Gruden would be an employee of UT and thus a state employee.

I'm not trying to argue. Gruden himself has confirmed the story from 2012. I don't need to argue with you. However there are some emotionally fragile people in here. And talking about 2012 being fake leads people to think 2017 could be fake. Neither are fake. You potentially send the roller coaster down with misinformation which is irresponsible.

An insider dropped some groundbreaking information in the XXX thread and henchmen from the AD and Gruden camps paid Freak a visit. After several hours of "negotiations" Freak caved and shut the thread down and deleted it. Rumor has it that it can still be accessed on the dark web.

Well Doyle only threw his meter in the trash and was able to dig it out and clean it up.... mine is not as easy as that... I ran it through a grinder and it is in a million pieces

Lets just say I am cautiously optimistic about this happening this time.... I see far more now that I did in 2012.... but all the Gruden talk has ONLY came to me form one phone call by someone talking about him bringing a certain OC and DC with him.

My source HAS NEVER mentioned Gruden as a candidate, only thing I have confirmed is that Butch is gone... FACT

If my source said Gruden.... I may go buy a new meter

I would think with recruiting and early signing in Dec, if Gruden is truly using Haslams plane, he wouldn't be doing that if he were seriously considering Giants or Bucs as someone stated earlier. What did Beavers most recent tweets say? I saw where he was dogging Sexton but haven't caught up yet from last night.
