Well if he truly is part of the layoffs, has been using Haslem’s plane, has been offered 10.2 mill(an insane amount), wants to coach again, and the UTAD isn’t getting in the way I feel a lot better about our chances and the timing this time around. That’s the one thing Gruden said about last time he almost took the job, “the timing just wasn’t right,” I believe this time around timing is a big deal, and that the time is now to take the Tennessee job. One of is “dream jobs”

I hate to waste my 100th post on this BUt did anyone hear RR on ESPN radio this morning mention "talk of Jon Gruden to TN and Tampa bay around 0745 ... I know RR was prob drunk but that is the first time I have heard it mentioned in a almost serious way by a ESPN personality .

If he truly loves Tennessee like he says he wouldn’t just be doing this for attention. He is doing all of this because he has genuine interest in the job and making Tennessee elite again.

I agree. Now is not the time to get back in the NFL with everything that’s going on. Now the time is better to be a college coach than an NFL coach. I also don’t believe for a second anything about the Tampa Bay job, because that bridge was burned a long time ago.

I explained it in an earlier post. The FAA has a list called BARR where you can block it being reported to sites like Flighttracker. However, there is nothing illegal about plane spotters and people monitoring ATC reporting what they see or hear. Sites like this one:

The ADSB Exchange Historical Flight Viewer

Compile those reports. So while you can’t easily get a definite “Plane N715CB flew from TYS to TPA at 9:15 on November 4”, you can see where those tail numbers are spotted.

It’s not perfect, but it is some data.

I just feel like the situation for him to come here has to be OVERWHELMINGLY in his favor. His want's might be just outrageous and almost impossible to provide. I really hope I'm wrong because I have been talking so much trash that he's coming. I will look like a beaten dog when I face up to everyone I've made claims too hahaha

If reports are true about the money we’ve offered then 10.2 for him and 5 million for assistants should meet his demands and then some IMO.

The time line is what’s giving me hope. I️ wouldn’t think it would drag on this long if there wasn’t a chance of him coming.

I personally find it hard to believe we have offered 10.2/yr when Saban only makes $7m/yr (11 this year because a $4m bonus). I could be wrong but I highly doubt those numbers.

I agree the money sounds like it would be right but I feel like with this it's about a lot more than money. Don't ask me what though I don't know anything just talking out my rear...
