I have heard that rumor but have also heard Kiffin named tied to OC and Ron Zook

Both along with Chavis seem highly unlikely to me

Idk he said a few times he would run a spread at college level but in reality that's basically what west coast is...just a spread under center.

I don’t understand it either. I’m in the Army and I think laziness is a relative term. You can find it everywhere if you look hard enough. And laziness compared to what? A service member not actively involved in anything, due to orders, makes them lazy?

Exactly!I don't think anyone in the military is. I'll admit,unless you're a pilot you're not gonna be in a lot of Combat situations.

Imo Gruden needs some top notch recruiters on staff ... Tee is that but one of the knocks on Chavis has always been he cannot recruit

I would say that anybody that is willing to potentially put their life on the line for their country is anything but lazy. No matter what branch they serve.

This! I know he’s going to have a lot of NFL coaching talent on the team so I can’t wait to see how the staff shakes up. My dream OCs would be JBC, and SFD threw this name out, Josh McDaniels

He sure can coach d though...that used to kill me everyone always downing chavis when he was here. How many times did you hear "3rd down and Chavis" but I could be wrong wasn't Chavis here in 98?

He is a great OC, but he is a train wreck in all other areas. There is a reason (several actually) that he is not at Alabama!
