There is no one of substance in the RF to even worry with. They are all a bunch of rejects who were the last kid picked in every sport at recess. So they sit over there in their own little circle jerk and make fun of others.

Is Trent Dilfer gonna be QB coach?

It’s not even a good roast. At least use a QB like Montana or Elway. But you attempted to make a joke using a QB analyst who has actually interviewed for coaching positions in the past. Get out.

Love how all of these “insiders” only come out when there’s a head coaching change but aren’t anywhere to be seen throughout the season to discuss injuries, troubles and punishments, turmoil, etc ...

Gruden has accepted and interviewed John Chavis to be his defensive coordinator .

Had lunch today with a friend who is good friends with The Chief’s son and says there’s a good chance John Chavis will be a part of the Gruden staff. Wasn’t gonna post because he said not to tell anyone but couldn’t resist.

TIFWIW

IF TRUE not real excited about the prospects of Chavis coming back. a little long in the tooth at this point imho.

All the Grudenites need to gather around and celebrate the incoming future of UT Football.

Currie: “I’d like to welcome the newest HC for the University of Tennessee, Mr. Jon Gruden.

Gruden: “Thank you John. Well first off I’d like to say that I’m blessed to receive this opportunity to be your HC for the University of Tennessee. I always said that Tennessee was my dream job. It’s very exciting to see a dream turn into reality. My wife and kids are also very excited to see their husband/dad to have this opportunity. I don’t know if you know this but my son is a student here at the University of Tennessee so I’m sure he’s going to love seeing my face every day on campus. Ya know, I spent 9 year broadcasting Monday Football. I suddenly got the itch to get back into coaching and what better time to start than right now right? I realize UT has major expectations every year which you’d expect from a high energy fanbase. I will say this though, we’re going to get back to the basics of football. X’s & O’s you might say. We’re going to be a smash in the mouth type football team that’ll run down a defense. Me and my assistants are going to work our guys hard whether it’s just practice or in an actual game. We want to put our players in the best position to make plays. Connecting with young college players I feel, is the best way to get the most out of your guys. Obviously the rules and regulations in college are a lot different from what I’m used to in the NFL. But it’ll be a learning process for me and I’m confident I can succeed here at the University of Tennessee. You know me, I love to work and I’m a huge nut when it comes to the game of football. Obviously it’s going to be a lot of work but that’s ok with me. I’m ready to get this show on the road so I’ll answer any questions the media might have.”

*UT Football comes relevant again on this very day.*

PS. I tried way too hard on this. :)

Say it ain't so... I do believe Gruden will aim higher.

Listen Eeyore. Get out.

Wrong. Wrong. Wrong.

To the first allegation: It would not be immediately known, there are requirements to post those documents, but it is not immediate. They would be subject to a records request, at which point the University would have 7 days to respond. However, you are assuming that anything has been drafted by the University. It could easily be that the University told JG's agent (orally) to draft the agreement.

In addition, if YOU had ever tried to request records you would know that they can deny them for being vague, over broad, or construe the request to not point at what you intended.

If you think that "all documents related to Jon Gruden's involvement with the University" would get what you want, you are sorely mistaken. "Any contracts executed between the University and Jon Gruden" may not hit because it had not been signed by the University yet (even if JG did sign it).

To your second allegation:

They may not begin paying a second coach, but there is ZERO reason they couldn't execute an employment agreement with JG while Butch is the coach. There is nothing in BJ's contract that prevents the University from interviewing, or HIRING, another coach (or 4).

Conclusion:

You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. you're spreading false information that you came up with on the toilet. Why don't you go put it back there? Or, put it back where it came from - your ass.

Military doesn't bother me. Self important, lazy people who want to be spoonfed the information many of us have painstakingly gathered and processed over the last month or more bother me.

Did something happen over the last month?

Tell me more!
