I understand and agree on Larry, Jav etc. My concern is just the possibility of 'the snowball effect'.
Are they hearing things because those things really happened? Or are they hearing things because even their sources have gotten caught up in an out of control desire to believe.
Lets expound. What in his history makes you think he would suck?
If Haslam has given Gruden access to his plane since the GA game, something is seriously going on here. I don't think we're just dreaming here. I think its happening. Only thing that makes sense why butch is still here also. As mad as I have been at Currie, surely, surely, he isn't this incompetent. But with us knowing for a fact that Gruden has an offer, knowing that he is using the Haslam plane, this man Gruden is going to be the next TN coach. I BELIEVE!
Ok after listening to the interview I'm just going to ASK this because it's been bugging me. I've been all in on Gruden and even get mocked for it by some buddies so I'm not being negative.
Trey talked about Gruden using Haslam's plane. While doing so he referred to it as the "Pilot" plane or the "Browns" plane. That bothered me only because of the stupid rumors circulating about Gruden to Cleveland. So my question, is there zero chance that the UT stuff is a smokescreen for a potential Cleveland hire? Meaning Gruden is in Knoxville to meet with Haslam for that position and he's giving him access to the plane for that reason? I'm not saying this is what I think is happening. I'm just asking to see if others more connected than me can rule this out. It's like a bad dream, someone wake me up haha!
I'll hang up and listen to your answers.......
It's my opinion, nothing I could say would sway you from your Mullen love. I have stated my opinion in no uncertain terms on VN many times. He is a good coach, I have never said he wasn't, however I do not believe he has greatness in him, and I think that should be abundantly obvious to anybody paying attention by now...he is just..meh. A big plate of boring meh...kinda like brussel sprouts.

I have no love Mullen, and will not unless he is hired as the HC of our beloved Vols. I simply give reasons, and state facts as to why I think he would do well here. I was hoping you could provide some cons to my pros. The glove wearing is the only valid con I have heard so far.
