Wrong. Wrong. Wrong.

To the first allegation: It would not be immediately known, there are requirements to post those documents, but it is not immediate. They would be subject to a records request, at which point the University would have 7 days to respond. However, you are assuming that anything has been drafted by the University. It could easily be that the University told JG's agent (orally) to draft the agreement.

In addition, if YOU had ever tried to request records you would know that they can deny them for being vague, over broad, or construe the request to not point at what you intended.

If you think that "all documents related to Jon Gruden's involvement with the University" would get what you want, you are sorely mistaken. "Any contracts executed between the University and Jon Gruden" may not hit because it had not been signed by the University yet (even if JG did sign it).

To your second allegation:

They may not begin paying a second coach, but there is ZERO reason they couldn't execute an employment agreement with JG while Butch is the coach. There is nothing in BJ's contract that prevents the University from interviewing, or HIRING, another coach (or 4).

Conclusion:

You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. you're spreading false information that you came up with on the toilet. Why don't you go put it back there? Or, put it back where it came from - your ass.

You are a patient man...I'm more of the GTFO kinda guy when they have no imagination.

It has been extremely interesting to watch the people on this thread who have actual knowledge of events, and compare to the people popping up in the last 24 hours with all manner of nuggets.

Seemed to me like a lot of it started after Trey Wallace went on record. Interesting. :)

The mod power is strong tonight. Has to feel like the building permit people in Williamson County.

I have been creeping for a while, reading and getting my hopes back to 2012 levels, and beyond this time. I'm ready to put my heart out there. Dont know if anybody else has noticed, but one encouraging sign for me is the fact ESPN stopped talking about Butch's hot seat over the past week and a half. Once the Grumers got real going. They talk Florida, and I understand that job is open. But also talk Arkansas, Texas A&M and even Auburn is brought up on almost every college football segment. JG is on Mike&Mike every Tuesday. In 2012 they would joke about him coming to Tennessee. They havent so much as mentioned it this time around. Just my two cents.
I BELIEVE!!

very astute observations.
hang around and post more.

One thing I saw was ‘Boro kinda open up. Til today he would only state that he had good info that Butch was gone after the GA game. Everything else he stated clearly was just his opinion. Today he seemed to take a much more bold stance. Apologies to ‘Boro if I interpreted incorrectly.
