I kind of like it when we get the summary in here. Not so much the constant talk. But that’s the dominant subject in UT football at the moment.

If he does come Fans will have to temper expectations a little and come back down to reality. But with that price tag I just don't see fans doing that.

Oh and since we are talking about G, I just got a text from a "friend" of mine that said "Time to unleash the hounds".

If we get Gruden, that means that "the powers that be" have given us what we want. I imagine the VOLS fans will have plenty of patience.

People have been slowly moving away from those types of shows for non-political reasons for a while now too.

You used to have to wait until 6:00 to get your daily roundup of sports talk. Now by the time sports center, first take, PTI (is that even on anymore?), etc is on sports fans have already seen all the highlights and heard all the hot takes on Twitter, Reddit, or fan sites like VN.

Which of the following is the first to say this weeks " things may get interesting in 24-48hr👀" ? It's a guarantee that one of them will say this on Friday as it happens weekly.

Strong has never had an impressive season without Teddy Bridgewater at QB for him.

Sometimes coaches get a QB good enough to ride to a great season. Strong is a textbook example.

You're right, but I'd still watch SC if it weren't for how awful it's become. I still watch SVP

That’s not exactly how advertising works, though. Just because you have money doesn’t make you a good demographic. Advertisers want to advertise at times when demographics who spend more freely are watching.

Often older, more successful people got that way by not spending frivolously and/or have little interest in things the biggest advertisers are trying to push (like video games or the newest Marvel movie).

Nah I'm gone now. Passed my defense and now got a job in Charlotte. Miss good ole Tennessee, but this is a nice city.

As for Gruden, I'm a full me once shame on you full me twice shame on me kind of dude. I wasn't heavily involved with it back in 2012, but I believes the rumors. Now I believe he just likes the attention and we will end up with Mullen/Taggart. You?

My immediate family has two marines, one army, one Air Force. It’s currently 2 find disrespectful. 1 doesn’t care. 1 thinks it’s the right he provided by his service. I’m guessing you could poll 1000 veterans and you’d get some similar views.

Thank you very much. Thanks to everyone for their prayers. It has been one of the roughest periods of our life the last 2+ months, but by God's grace we will carry on. My mother is my biggest concern now.

I can't take the thought of him. Hated him since Falcons and Arky made it worse. He is not a homerun hire. Would rather have CWT. I will be like the original Catbone if we hire that crap. He is not winning like Strong at Louisville with one of the best QB's in the country.
