One mildly off-topic remark sends you into an uproar, and I'm the snowflake?

You putting me on ignore won't cause me to lose an ounce of sleep, and is probably in your best interest to begin with.

Your comment was made with the motive of being a dick and an attempt to garner favor with masses. Just own it.

My rent check is in the mail.

You don’t know how this thread works, obviously.

Firmly at 100%. Theres way too much positive grumors and too much smoke to not be a fire.

We are so close to saying Tennessee Football is back!!

But you don't have to live there unless necessity requires it.

True. I do shop at the Ingles across from the hospital where I work though. It's convenient.

Granted, this hospital isn't in a fun area though.

My first job in a hospital provided cops to walk us to and from our cars. Ah, Baptist Hospital of East Tennessee.., RIP

Poppa T we have to meet Vandy weekend, if you're up for it.

We sure can try. You have my mobile number (see one of our emails). If you want to email me your mobile, we can try and connect.

We are going to be with my parents (Hartsville) and son (Lebanon) for Thanksgiving. Bringing my Dad (he is 86 and UT alum) and my son and maybe my grandson (4 generations). Dad does not walk real well, so we may park uptown and catch the trolley.

Thou shalt not mention any of the following during the Great Gruden reign:

"brick by brick"
"Snap and clear"
"maturation process"
"Champions of Life"
"Complimentary football"
"resiliency”
“Eye discipline”
“Leadership reps”

I think the algorithm goes something like this:

If you're going to talk about future Tennessee Volunteer coaches, be sure you're talking about Gruden. Period.

If you're going to talk about something totally unrelated to football, have at it, but be prepared to jump back onto the Gruden topic at a moment's notice.

If you're going to talk football, but not specifically about Vol coaching, then find a way for it to be pro-Gruden or at least somewhat Gruden-flavored.

And yes, as with any tightknit community, being a long-time member certainly gets you more leeway. But that's just human nature, and not unfair.

Go Vols!

I really just want to stay above 100,000. I just want WIDER seats! Haha. I'm not a big guy by an means, but man it would feel nice not to be so crammed.

yea I feel ya on that we always get the chair backs to kinda help with the room (although they are not comfortable at all) just wanna keep it loud as hell in their once JG is coach.

Years ago when I first got my season tickets, we were in the nosebleed section. think two rows from the top in the South end zone.

A very nice older couple sat next to us, the only thing was, she weighed about 350 lbs. It got to the point that when they sang the Star Spangled Banner our saying was, "and the home of the SIT!"

Otherwise, there was no place to park once she sat down. Her poor husband spent most games sitting on the steps, just to make room.

Go on.....

I can't but I think there's a pretty good chance Gruden to Tennessee happens this time. A lot of smoke here. If this does happen Haslam will have a lot of the accolades or blame however it turns out. I don't think we're on this weekend as a timetable like some have suggested. If we're at the point that's rumored though more and more stuff will leak out.
