Maybe John Harbaugh based on name alone. I think David Shaw would get a reasonably warm reception. Frost...meh. Norvell...meh. Not to say they aren't qualified, just wouldn't be the "boom" hire we all think is going to happen.

Did anyone hear on 104.5 in Nashville a couple of days ago that Peterson reached out last year? Someone was on the show talking about it and said that UT was one of 3 hospitals in the country that treated what his child was diagnosed with.

I agree he would be an upgrade, but it would be difficult to name a coach that would NOT be an upgrade.......... the issue is, we need someone who can bring instant recognition to the program and fill the people with excitement.... the name Mullen doesn't fit that description

only total idiots would hire a MULLEN after committing to a $340 MILLION stadium renovation.
