Dude has been sitting in the parking lot watching these trucks for hours... if says he's definitely been giving his all for Tennessee!!! 👍🏼

He should mug a pizza delivery guy for his uniform and go in and try to deliver a pizza to a Mr. Gruden.

Am I the only one that thinks MIT_Beaver puts off a laughably fake persona to cover up the fact that he's a random joe in his mom's basement pretending to have "inside info" that doesn't actually know anything more than we all do?

To date, I have not seen a post of his that even hints at having inside info.

As one poster stated above, "He offered to help a fellow Vol", and then proceeded to give you down the road for your shortcomings. I'll be kind in saying you don't know what the hell you are talking about. 1st some of these connected firms have strict confidentiality guides to abide by. Did you read the post about "Castor Ventures? The poster ask that you google the firm which is a group of MIT grads doing certain research. Likely hired by Ergen in this matter to appease the academic side because this is upfront, an expensive hire. One poster who is very well known and liked by all on VN referenced it as Ergen's masterplan. It stands to reason that MIT_Beaver appears to be connected to Castor Ventures.

I may have said a little too much just then because beav wants his anonymity. Nothing wrong with that. Anyway best I could understand is that UT's academic side gets a huge boost out of this deal as far as becoming one of the top 20 research universities in the country. As I stated in prior post today Haslam couldn't mount much of a counter move because of this well thought out plan which apparently appealed to many players, especially Davenport and academia. Surely you can read further into it on your own. My hope is that CJG is headed to the hill and I think that is the objective of many, if not all posters in these Gruden threads. So you want to come in here and bash one person who is good enough to share some tid-bits in the only fashion he knows. The strongest point he made was the simplest. It all depended on Gruden's response and according to beav,"he said yes."

I'm trying to overlook your lack of insight and the fact that you,in assumptious fashion judged another fellow Vol. Follow the rev's,(prior poster, see edit) and git!

edit: see post #1493 by revjayp and post #1759 by TenUhSee...try reading into these matters before judging. This is the start of UT's future. It will happen. SOOOON!!!!!!

It’s interesting the momentum crypto currency has gained as an accepted form of payment, as well as being endorsed by numerous in the banking industry. Was initially a little higher on etherum with their open source direction, but it seems bitcoin is developing similar models now. Don’t have a ton of time to keep up with it now, all my free time is spent here.

Yes it is very cool since its actually way cheaper (albeit with more risk) for merchants to use bitcoin not having to pay fees. Banks and Governments are taking notice, and when they start trying to control it is when all helm will break loose. In my opinion Government doesn't do well when it tries to control things.

Oh and just say no to 3rd and Chavis.

I can deliver. 😉

Most of my product I'm delivering to buyers in Florida. The market just brings more.

Hopefully within the next year we will either open up a retail store in Tennessee or Florida.

We will offer raw boards/beams and finished furniture, wall coverings, and possibly flooring.

I had already talked to a manufacturer about processing my wood for flooring and wall coverings but I felt it was too soon and didn't want to extend myself too much and not be able to meet demand.

The market in Florida is better but I'm not crazy about it down there. I'm already down there once or twice a month as it is, not sure if I could handle it year round.

You know that old saying, " you can take the boy out of the hills ...

Sounds like you’re really growing your business. Congrats to you man. Are you in Chattanooga?

Once they get their hooks into bitcoins, it won't be the same. Just something else for them to manipulate.

We need to have a synopsis post like this at the beginning of each thread.

Lol.. actually I'm wherever the job is. Right now I'm an hour west of Nashville.

My GF is in Florida with the kids for now.

I travel a 4 state area. Tennessee, Kentucky, W. Virginia, and sometimes Virginia.

I travel and take them down and then transport it to my buyers in Florida.

I have doubled what I was getting per board foot in Florida versus Tennessee in the last 3 months. I have upgraded my truck and my trailer to carry more and make less trips. I can carry a medium sized barn in one trip now.

I work alone because it's hard work and most won't stick with it.

But I'm to the point if I'm going to continue to grow it then that's what I need is manpower.

I do sell local at times.

Yes. Gruden loved to joke around with Tirico. Highly respected him. As he should. Tirico is miles better than McDonough.

tirico is lucky to be employed...if he'd done what he did-serially stalking and sexually harassing women- in the current climate he'd be permanently unemployed rather than temporarily suspended.

I imagine old barns are a lot easier to come by in TN than they are in Florida. I’m guessing that’s why they pay a lot more in Florida. There are tons of old barns not being used around where I live. I love building furniture and other things out of reclaimed wood. It looks awesome. You’re gonna make a lot of money doing that sir. :hi: props to you for taking the chance on it. I’ve always wanted to start my own business, I just never could come up with anything I would be interested in enough to be passionate about. I feel like you have to be passionate about what you’re doing if you’re going to have success in small business.

I stepped in earlier and seen something about some Monopoly money being passed around, I have no idea what this bit money is yall speak of, but then again I'm just a country Bumpkin living up here in the sticks. But if its good as money it works for me.

I do. I love it. I enjoy working outside, getting to know the people and hear their stories about the barn or building.

The people I deal with are a dying breed and it's a shame because they are the salt of the earth.

I like seeing something that is 100+ years old live on in another form for another 100 years instead of rotting away.

It's an awesome job.

Bitcoin? Thought everyone moved on to Ethereum. Or at least bitcoin cash after the whole Segwit hard fork occurred.

What part of Virginia?

The furthest I havr been into Virginia is just North of Bristol.

I'm about to start concentrating more in the tri-cities, Bristol, Newport and W. Virginia area.

The number of barns is unreal in that area and my chances of getting into Chestnut grow the further North I move.

I've been checking your posts out. Straight to the point.. do you need some real help? My son may appreciate a good guy as a boss. He loves to work outside and bullwork is his specialty. Maybe we can arrange to talk about it. Safety first.

All true, but verification is becoming too slow now. Just trying to move funds around lately from exchanges to wallets takes 1-10 minutes. Far too slow.

South western Virginia (pretty much west of Roanoke) seems to have a bunch of old barns. If you’re ever in the area in the summer and want some young labor I’d most likely be around. It sounds cool and fun.

Imo the biggest thing to come from cryptocurrency is blockchain. Distributed ledger technology has many uses. Something like 80% of banks are investing in it. IBM has a whole team dedicated to it.

It's just really hard work. I take them down by hand so as to salvage ad much as possible. Between the weather and the physicality it's hard to keep people. Or they want to imbibe while working lol.

Hired a couple of local guys to help. They lasted 1 day because they couldn't do without a beer for a few hours. Lol

My insurance won't cover it if they get hurt and most landowners don't like it either. The guy I'm working for now is a country music star from way back. Great guy but he is pretty straight laced and I know if he caught someone drinking in my job then it wouldn't be my job anymore lol.

Plus it's too dangerous to be doing that stuff around these old buildings, too many ways to get hurt.

Sounds like a lot of good, (hard to find these days), oak with real nails in it. I had 3 sheds made of it on my property and took one apart. What do you do, have it run thru a heavy duty magnum planer?
