According to google maps, the quickest route from Green Bay to charlotte doesn't go through Knoxville.

Bigfoot is real.... I am as serious as a heart attack... I am unsure if Gruden will come to Tennessee... but I believe in Bigfoot

I agree; however, I can't think of a reason to turn west on I-40 when I need to go east. Strawplains and Dandridge exits are close, on the route, and very accessible.
