Even if Gruden does come, I hope the fan base doesn't have unrealistic expectations of him. Harbaugh at Michigan hasn't even made the playoffs yet, but had more college experience than Gruden and a pretty close NFL resume.
People expecting Gruden to win a national championship in 3 years are setting themselves up for disappointment no matter what ends up happening
What are you talking about a national championship.Even if Gruden does come, I hope the fan base doesn't have unrealistic expectations of him. Harbaugh at Michigan hasn't even made the playoffs yet, but had more college experience than Gruden and a pretty close NFL resume.

Probably part of his hesitation as he knows National Title or bust expectations. Different personalities though. Harbaugh wears out his welcome with his quirky personality. Gruden much more personable which will buy him time.
Biggest confusion for me with a Harbaugh is QB play. He was so good at developing QBs everywhere so not sure what is going on there

Especially on the offensive line. Butch Jones mismanagement of that group this year has been some of the worst coaching malpractice Ive seen. We went from having 13 or 14 healthy scholarship guys to 6.Yeah, and this roster doesn't even compare to what Hoke left Harbaugh at Michigan.
This job is going to take a minor rebuild.
Most UT fans just want to win the SECE championship and progress upward from there. That shouldn't be so elusive.
