Yup, but I’m telling y’all this is a very odd time for people who have always had “sources”. I have people that I would have always trusted 100% with info and they were aleays spot on. Now, some are completemy mum, and others info is all over the place to where I’m having trouble putting it together. The booster side is the one doing the most talking, so that is where a lot of most. everyone’s info is coming from right now. Unfortunately thats the side that I’m havin trouble syncing. Good news is, I have nonpresuure to figure it out. My life doesnt change if I know tha answer or not.

Take that to the media... they are jnder pressure to give you a “scoop” and I bet a lot of them are getting the information runaround.

The one source I have must be one of yours ..lol... he has been spot on with every hire from Kiffin on.. even told me Butch (but it was day of) almost time for presser....

The last time I talked to him he was scattered and seemed to contradict himself several times.... I asked him if he was on drugs ..lol

It is PART of the reason I have been so on/off of this train... no idea who to trust anymore

Was there ever any solid conformation Gruden has bought a house? Wouldn't that be public info at this point?

Not concerned about the Mays decommit. As soon as Gruden steps to the podium, recruits are going to want to play for the man. Whether Mays is at Tennessee or elsewhere, does not matter as long as we get "our man"...SOON!

From what Swain was saying Beaver was right. One of the biggest Boosters is thinking about pulling out if it is not Gruden. Makes me feel good that is lining up with what Beaver was saying. I think if Ergen wants Gruden bad enough he has the funds to do it.

Cade Mays liking this tweet may say otherwise.

Surely Butch will tell him to keep his commitment to TN. After all, you commit to the school, not the coach. If Cade really likes Butch, then maybe he'll heed his advice.

Did Swain say that this morning?

The one hang up I have with this is the report that Ergen has NEVER made a donation of above $50,000 a year to UT.

I have never been able to confirm or deny this .... I believe if this could be proved or disproved it would tell us everything we want to know. :hi:

Ergen may or may not have made larger donations, but "Dish Network" has to be one of the largest 3 sponsors based on how many times I see the logo.

$50k to the athletic department, or to UT? I can't remember who said that. Was it Deerpark? I think he's athletics only, so how would he know?

I'm not convinced it's Ergen. I think it may be Anderson. But also, keep in mind that donations don't tell the whole story. Think about advertisement dollars too. Dish Network sponsors about anything and everything over there.

What? I think you are mixed up.

No I am not. Cade was Butch loyal and with him decommiting that spelled the end of Butch. Then he retweeted Ausyin Prices tweet when a person asked of that was still the case and AP said he does not think so meaning Cade is no longer Butch loyal

If someone had an address I could tell you before tax records. Unfortunately everyone keeps posting the same address of the Haslam house and it is still not under contract.. so not that one.

That being said, him buying a house is apparently not a lead indicator of his potential as a coach.

Haha, for sure. It’s like they have resorted to reading message boards too.

I heard he has been frugal in past but think he is serious this go around. He is not taking no for an answer or he is done.

I believe it was Deerpark..iirc, If we could disprove that one statement it would say to that Ergen is the main cog.... right now I am still unsure...

Does not make me anti-Gruden or down or discouraged... just makes me wonder

I agree, but I also caution those trying to validate this that it may be impossible. In my pre-kiddo life, I was a cpa and many high net worth individuals work out different arrangements for their giving so it may be hard to trace. Some give stock, some give in kind donations, and some give either anonymously or through their corporations or even private holding companies and private foundations. You may not be able to trace a donation to him directly.
