Anybody hear this part of the Trey Wallace interview?

Not gonna lie, I'm already kind of sick of Grumors and we don't even have the vacancy yet. All these sources run together in my mind and I have no clue what's worth investing my belief in or not.

This feels like one of those things thats either a fairy tale ending (which seems like we never get) or another huge letdown (which we are much more accustomed to). We are Vols so I'm having a hard time expecting the best.

My heart wants this so bad but my head won't let me believe right now.

I also think it's interesting that Finebaum mentioned us being the only SEC school Chip Kelly would consider coming to. I can't remember now why people on this board were assuming he's off the table. Somebody remind me?

Probably because of perceived NCAA issues. Also Larry said we sent feelers, but he was just not interested.

You don’t have a very solid handle on what reality means. This post is rife with speculation. What makes you think Mays would still be committed if we had an interim who has no shot of being our next HC?

A lot of these top-tier names being tossed out aren't going to be lured by another million or so. If they're successful and have a good setup at a program they're invested in, they're likely to stay put... unless they have ties elsewhere.
