For me, it was year one Vandy. We were nursing a 4 point lead into the 4th quarter, like 13 to 9? Butch kept running the hurry up offense and I was screaming to the Heavens 'RUN THE CLOCK! RUN THE CLOCK YOU IDIOT!!' And Vandy scored with 1:15 to go. Easily could have been run out from the previous two drives by simply snapping at 2. NOT 19!

Yep. And the list goes on. I don't think I've ever seen a coach that lacks such situational awareness. It permeates every facet in his coaching life.

Ok, had to step away for a minute. A lady is in here asking for pain meds. I asked her what her pain scale was and she said "I am not is any pain now, but will be SOON!"

This is totally a sign.

What do you do ER?

For me it was the 2015 Oklahoma game. The absolute loudest I've ever heard Neyland for an entire game. Took my daughter who was in the 6th grade to that game and she's watched every UT game since. Butch kicking the field goal on the 6 inch line was a serious WTF moment. When we lost that game walking out of the stadium holding my daughter's hand should have been one of the most awesome moments of her childhood (it was because it was my girl) but we were both sick over that loss.

The contrast of how loud it was inside the stadium to how quiet it was walking out was striking.

It's that type of BS that makes me want to move on from Butch. The Vandy game of not running the clock. This year at the end of FLA I was screaming 'YOU IDIOT! DON'T THROW IT!" The series prior to the field goal, Butch ran alot of clock. I was happy. Then, 1st and Goal...three straight incompletions. FLA sitting on 2 TO's. Didn't force 'em to use 'em. Instead, stopped the clock all 3 plays. Ridiculous coaching. There's at least 2 games every year this happens. ANY half way decent coach get us 2 wins per year more than what we've had the last 5. Gruden can say 'no', I sure hope he doesn't. But there's an a$$load of upgrades out there and I am SO ready.

He has battered vol syndrome. These people love to be miserable and accept mediocre. Fans like him think 8-4 is a great ceiling. He has some followers that don't realize the history or potential of this great university. But the will SOON ENOUGH!:rock::rock:

Since it is slow in here, the beaver tweet from earlier mentioned Busch gardens. I know it was mostly about the ups and downs of this thread and relating it to a rollercoaster but what if he was saying that because he is down in Tampa right now. Just a thought.

Let's not mention our former coach as we have moved on to sooner pastures farmed by Gruden.
