I kinda feel the same way. All of the supposed back and forth, we offered, wasn't enough, we offered more and he still isn't sure. Just doesn't seem like he wants to coach here to me, or it would already be done. Hope I'm wrong.

One thing that gives me hope is this seems similar to what alabubba went through to get saban.

Saban told Bama no multiple times and even publicly said he wasn’t interested and in the end took the job. I think sometimes we read into the no too much when in reality the first one or two no’s were just Gruden angling for more. Doesn’t mean he wasn’t and isn’t interested.

He basically got a hose filled with ice water and blasted the rumor down. Then Brian Rice dropped more buckets of icy water as well.

I decided to go with this....

If they are addressing that way then that is the Athletic Dept pushing this narrative. Rice is all about making the Dept look good and pushing their agenda.

Go SET TV. $20 a month and over 500 channels. All the sports league passes and premium channels.

Ok, what's the catch here? I went to the website and it read like it was typed into Google Translate, but at that pricing I'd give it a shot.

See on the bright side you'll know when we hire Gruden before anyone else. That thing can see into the future.

My wife seems to think it's a bit ostentatious. You don't agree, do you?

Actually, she said it was an eye-sore, but I convinced her "ostentatious" was more technical in nature plus it made her sound extremely intelligent.

Nah. If Tampa is the trump card, that's already been back-channeled and he would have never made it to the closing table with us.

I can't believe Tampa bay is in play. I know it appears the Bucs may have regressed a little but it is only Koetters second year. I'm not sure they fire him this year.

I don’t know yet lol. Buddy of mine I was talking to this weekend has this. He kept his main TV package but dropped it down to the lowest package and uses that and SET TV both to watch tv. He said nothing but good things.

After reading reviews on the website and reddit it seemed like there were customer service problems and sometimes channels would have trouble viewing. I’m going to give it a try though, bought a fire stick for $40 last night. At the very worst I hope the sports packages and premium channels work and that justify the $20 a month in my mind. I’ll report back once I’ve had it for a bit and let y’all know.

Wait. I thought the city of Tampa blamed Gruden for ruining their proud tradition of winning one Super Bowl........under Gruden.

Cool, appreciate it.

From TOS about Finebaum.

Interesting. He's seemed to change his stance on both Kelly and Gruden. Just last week he said there was zero chance Kelly takes a job east of the Mississippi.

His views on Gruden have been the same rollercoaster ride as the Gruden thread in the FF.

I'm gonna go ahead and tell you all something that is going to happen today.....

Larry is about to come back with a grim reaper special and make you forget he gave it some thought with his recent posts.

Hyams will drop another "there's absolutely zero chance Gruden coaches at Tennessee" very soon

Hyams will drop another "there's absolutely zero chance Gruden coaches at Tennessee" very soon

I could very well see him sending out a 2:30pm tweet with some thing like that and/or leading off his show with that in his snooze and snotes segment.

My hang-up with the #grumors is that there is altogether too much of “well, he said he’s not interested, which is exactly what you would expect him to say if he actually was interested, like Saban.” (I know Gruden hasn’t come out and shot it down, but just see a lot of that type of thinking regarding reports/rumors that are, on their face, negative.) That’s possible, of course — usually there are a lot of denials, etc., until the time comes for a public announcement — but it’s also just possible (or likely, IMO) that it’s a real denial.

The biggest flaw in all the "Butch could still be retained!" talk is assuming Jones wants to be here for another year.

Great point. He checked out midway during the UGA game and has been an automaton ever since.

Imagine the staff watch if Gruden is hired.

And the cruitin.

Volnation would be like the United States when George Washington was President and right after World War II ended...virtual CONSENSUS. Wouldn’t last, of course...but rare moment in history. :)

Can you tell us what it was like when Washington was president? :)
