I'm gonna go ahead and tell you all something that is going to happen today.....
Larry is about to come back with a grim reaper special and make you forget he gave it some thought with his recent posts.
I did it for a while and streamed mostly live sports and Netflix via Roku. I also purchased Sling TV.
It worked fine most days. But one really irritating thing is, at least for me, high traffic games did not stream at the same speed they did on normal days. For example: I had no issue using Sling to watch regular season NBA games. But as soon as the playoffs hit, every game moved at a snail's pace and buffered constantly.
I had the highest internet package available through Comcast so I don't believe the issue was on my end. It was really irritating/embarrassing to have a bunch of people over to the house to for the NBA finals then not be able to watch it.
In addition to that problem, it really wasn't as cost efficient as it seems up front. For internet alone I paid $80. Another $30 for Sling. Then add Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc. (which I keep anyway but was more dependent on for content)
The best way to play the game is to switch cable/internet providers each time the promotional pricing period expires. I was paying over $150 a month "cutting the cord" but instead switched to AT&T internet with DirecTV, get more content and not dependent on streaming quality, and only pay $105 a month (+taxes and fees). I know after two years the prices will surge, at which point I will likely switch back to Comcast or to DISH just to get a more competitive price via their promotional pricing.
Well he expanded on his previous post saying that the boosters had different opinions last time on how to fix football. He said that's not the case this time. They are on a united front toward one goal.
I have PlayStation Vue and stream it through an Apple TV in one room and a Roku in the other. The Roku is your issue with the buffering/slow load time, not to mention the primitive user platform. I have constant issues with the Roku being delayed/behind from the same game streaming well on the Apple TV.
If anyone is looking at going this route the investment into Apple TV is more than worthwhile. The usability and streamlined functions are really no comparison.
Also, we found that getting AT&T's entry level package of 15 channels and internet was cheaper than internet alone. We have AT&T, PlayStation Vue, Netflix and HBO Go for $120/mo.
I just have problems believing its mutual. If a potential coach wants to be here and we want them then I dont really see a way they cant figure it out. I would say if anything its more 10% Gruden and 90% us.
