Great story regarding Mark Richt. He was in the tunnel during their walk through one year they played at Neyland. Buzz Peterson was showing a basketball recruit around and on his way out he comes up to Richt and introduces his self “how are coach?..Buzz Peterson). Then walks away...

Mark turns to a few of us standing there and says “who the hell is Buzz Peterson!?!”

If you read his Gruden article, you'll see that he's not in any way connected in this area. I'm not slamming him (for this anyway), I'm just saying that he is trying to use deduction, not inside information.

I don't really get the hesitation from gruden to coaching college.

Hour restriction? So everyone else you play on same restriction

Recruiting? Bro your Jon Gruden. Hire the right staff/analyst around you with college experience and then walk in closing the deal cuz your Jon Fing gruden... you probably get the #1 QB in every class and that basically the key to college

win? Bro your jon Gruden you can outcoach Kirby Smart, Mark stoops, Derek Mason, Barry Odom and whoever Florida hires.

Question, how much longer before some major outlets or National reports come about Gruden to UT?

Surely with all the Grumors and possible smoke someone wants to break this in todays world of journalism right?

I just don’t see how much longer it can smolder.

Yea, I understand. He does that in some of his articles. But you can't totally dismiss him not having a source at UT. UT is one school, other than maybe Vandy, that he would have a source.

I'm sure he does, but if he were basing his prediction on a source, I think he'd cite it.

I don't know how he can put a probability on something without information from someone else, but that's just me.

I remember laughing at James Franklin ay Vandy for that time they brought an ice cream truck and everyone acted like 6 year olds

Turns out, I was wrong. Apparently ice cream is an important component of success

He does and it looks like it’s going to get better. He would get a top 2 class here. If he started winning then we would return to being a force.

He makes great decisions in terms of assistants he surrounds himself with. Taggart is someone we need to go after if Gruden says no

Yeah I think he has heard some things but he deals more in facts/stats and doesn't believe we can actually make it happen. Like you said earlier if he has a source on it to point of confidence he will let it be known. He is just following the odds movement etc and having fun with it at the moment.

Are you sure about the grandfather playing for Tennessee? I've never heard that.
