I am too lazy to go back to the podcast and find exactly what Kress said, but I think he mentioned the Betonline guy saying that everything they were hearing was pointing to Gruden, and there was no real buzz on any of the other coaches.

I do think smart money came in big on Gruden. There were pretty strong indications in his direction back when the line was +2000.

100% confident that how this happened was:

"hey, that Gruden kid just told me he was going to Tampa this weekend so I guess we can't hang out after all."

(3rd party that overhears quietly, furiously writes up article)

"CONFIRMED. TOP SECRET GRUDEN FAMILY MEETING IN TAMPA TO DISCUSS UT COACHING VACANCY."

Relating to Betonline and the Gruden odds: Kress on 3&Out said that the owner of Betonline had gone on I think one of the regional sports radio shows and was talking about the Gruden odds. According to Kress, the guy said that it looked like they were going to get killed if Gruden is hired at UT because almost all of the money that has come in is on Gruden. No one is putting money on any other coaches. That's why you saw such a precipitous drop in the line, and a corresponding bump for the other coaches.

Small detail, but I think a good indication of where we are at with our man. :)

DP was a pric k last night just in general of how we don't support the team ect. He had it coming because he knows nothing about the fans or the donors and his posts last night proved it. It was not a matter of his opinion but more of how he put us all in the catagory of the miserables and how no one would want to coach or be the AD here. Basically trashed Charlie and he couldn't spit shine Charlie's shoes properly. DP has been a good poster in the past but he went way over the line with his junk about Charlie.

I hate to admit I've never been, I had always planned to go with Dad, but he passed away before we ever made it. I'm so glad he got to go without me. I was invited by a good friend last year, but had too much going and couldn't get away and with a daughter playing hs softball the next 4 years that won't change soon. I did take my son to St Louis twice last year and the Cards lost both games. LOL. Sounds like a lot of fun, maybe we can make it SOON.
