Question. Why would Butch want to ride out another three weeks with all of this now swirling around the media? He has nothing to gain, but the buyout. You would think he would be willing to take less buyout so he can just go ahead and leave with what dignity he has left. It just doesn’t make sense to me for him to want to finish the season.

I hate to break it to you, but until he's giving his introductory press conference, there's no guarantee he's the next coach.

Any number of things could happen. He could change his mind. Somebody on Tennessee's side could change their mind for any number of reasons. An NFL opportunity could tempt him. Hell, if Butch can think of a way to **** this up for us, he probably would.

The point is, it's not 100% until he's here. Even if he's living in Knoxville.

May be because the media never does anything but lob softballs at him, i.e. today.

I can not repeat word by word by no means but this evening is the first evening he and laura have gone down the gruden road without giggling. They mentioned family meeting, pro/cons of Gruden on the Hill but mostly pro....and my bias now interjects that they said
College Football has now been put on notice...."Storm is a comin"
