Preacher, I answered you in the prior thread and will here as well. The last words out of Gruden's mouth about college were that he wouldn't coach there. You can take it as joking or not but it's what he last said.
This is his last statement about coaching at all, from a couple of months ago back in August.
So I've heard (from Hyams) that a reason for keeping Butch around was the great job he's done on the APR here. West just said on WNML that our APR isn't high enough to qualify for a bowl at 5-7 under that rule. Not that I give a tinkers damn about going to a bowl at 5-7 unless it gives a new coach time to actually start the job early, but if the APR isn't that great, it's just another ill conceived talking point from the AD.
Hey guys, long-time reader of Gruden thread, first-time poster.
Is it true that Butch's buyout decreases by $250k for every game he remains the coach this season?
Heard this, and just curious if it's true.
What Coach in any sport has done what Saban has done? John Wooden, Casey Stengel, and Saban are the only ones in that room.
What so called Vol fan on a Vol forum could post this rediculous list without PAT!!! Get this crap out of here.
i saw where you posted at the end of the last thread. but what did he saw about college?
that's the point. he's on record recently saying he is gearing up for a return to college. last week on mnf said he missed coaching.
i want to know what he said about college.
not being argumentative ...
