Ergen's deal involves Gruden and always has. There is a reason that Peyton is very involved this time. Peyton and Gruden have a great relationship. And where has Peyton lived for the past 5ish years. Ergen's deal is Gruden and the control he wants or it's no deal for the academic side. Ergen has made sure he had everything wrapped up with Gruden and what Gruden wanted and that's part of the deal for the AA side to get what's the very best deal they could ever get. Ergen has everything and every base covered that he could. He quietly has locked up everything and everyone (including Gruden) except the one person or one family he can't lock up. If everyone at UT wants what's best for the university both on the AA side and the athletic side then the university tells the Haslams that this is the way it's going to be this time. If Currie doesn't move to the Ergen's side he may end up with Butch in the unemployment line.
Have a Gruden night!
He looked like it was all he could do to keep from crying.
not at game but the link below focuses on butch from beginning to end and by the time he got to the end he definetly looked like a man knowing he is soon to be out !

Okay, its not that Ive been against Gruden, Ive just had suspicions about a couple of people with information . That said, when we got home from the swim meet, I had a dish network flyer in the mail, and the first thing I saw on tv was the dilly dilly commercial. Im just saying thats awfully coincidental.

I think everyone needs to remember who is running the show at UT. Bev Davenport and "Yes Man" Jon Currie are not going to lure the kind of coach we need in here. Nobody with any brains wants to work for a collection of chumps like we have. People are not wrong when they say the Administration at UT could care less about the results of the football team, because regardless, we are still the most profitable program in the SEC. Would you care if you owned the sorriest restaurant/bar in town but still made a fortune from its operations? UT administration thinks we are all just moron consumers who will buy anything they sell to us. The fact that we still profit more than Bama after the last 10 years proves them right.
