Was not on in 2012 and like another said came late to this one. This thread has been more enjoyment and hope than the football team. Have read almost every single post for two weeks and joined as a b-day present to self. Before anything Gruden one way or another just wanted to say thanks to everyone on here,especially for those in position to get and share info. Really think we got him but no matter what thanks for hope and light I pray at the end of this dark tunnel.

Grew up in JC watching ETSU in the mini dome. Their former DC is a family friend. They were bad under Hamilton, they’re slightly less bad now, but I’m glad to see football back.

If I'm being honest, I would be pretty happy even if they would just replace Butch Jones with a life-sized, cardboard cutout of Jon Gruden.

He was with 247 or Scout (can’t remember) in 16, but then all of a sudden he wasn’t. I gathered he went back to teaching school to be at home with his family. Entirely possible he still contributes, I don’t follow him as closely as I once did when I was more or less obsessed with recruiting.

Have a real job and a kid now (but still find time to hang out with the lovable riff raff in this place)
