I used to catch some slabs outta Lick. I do miss fishing KY Lake.

We're talking about the Lick near Parsons, and most think of the one up north. Both have good crappie though. They're turned on right now. Probably drive up in the morning to fish. Asian carp a really bad now throughout the lake.

This guy, Walt Coleman, needs to be an official VFL. Buy him free drinks when you see him. He is the referee that made the tuck rule call in the 2001 AFC championship game between the Gruden led Raiders and the Pats. It was the straw that broke the camels back in the strained relationship between Gruden and Al Davis. From there Gruden went to Tampa & MNF. This path eventually leads to him to become head coach at UT where he will win more NCs than any coach in NCAA history.

Soon.

As a Raiders fan since ‘67 I might be more likely to dump a drink on him than buy him one. It was a fumble!

I hate to hear that about the carp. I left West Tn about 15 yrs, from Gibson County originally. Lived in Chatt for 12 years and fished the Chick. Now I’m north of Knoxville near Norris Lake. I haven’t figured the crappie out yet. This lake is both clear and deeeeep. I’m used to holding a jig pole in my hands fishing stake mats.

They can see you coming a mile away with the clear water. I have been fishing for walleye some.

Edit: Norris and Cherokee Lakes have been invaded by zebra mussels.

My question is whether an "outsider" has enough information to meaningfully analyze this chess match. I'm not sure there are enough factual pieces to make any kind of determination.

It's a battle of narratives currently, with a tremendous amount of misinformation from both sides.

At this point, there's too much luck involved to play chess - because you'd have to guess correctly on what to believe.

Yes...based on the laws of probability.

If Gruden is considering the job he will be nowhere near Neyland. Coaches dont do that crap, its a fraternity.
